Safe-T-Puller 2100

I am the owner of a Safe-T-Puller STP-2100. I bought this from a friend a few years ago. At the time he had been using the puller to pull his bait nets and lobster traps.

The first season I owned the unit it ran flawlessly. Eventually, I had to have the motor rebuilt. I contact Quality Products Northwest and spoke with Robert. We discussed the issue of the gearbox starting to have a noise that was an indication of gear failure of some type. At that time the unit was about 6 years old. He suggested that I have them rebuild the unit. I sent the motor to them and a few weeks later it was returned to me. Since that time I have used the puller for my traps. No further issues have been encountered with this unit.

Although this puller was originally designed for crab traps, it has worked great for me. Some of my traps are four foot long and weight approx 75 lbs without the lobsters in them. At my age 56, this puller has enabled me to continue pulling traps without the danger of hurting me back doing a manual pull.

My encounters with Quality Products Northwest has been very favorable. Robert gave me good advice as to the type of repairs that would be best. He and Quality Products Northwest have also been very helpful with obtaining a few consumable parts for my puller.

It is my opinion that this company make a high quality puller, and it stands behind its products with a superior service group. I have and will continue to promote this puller.

Best Regards,
